Rose Pagonias

Rose Pagonia orchids hold a very special place in my heart. They bloomed every year in late spring in a little boggy area just down the road from my old house in Fryeburg. They are very rare, and I was lucky to find the same patch of flowers every year since I first saw them. They are a very close relative of the Lady's Slippers (mid-late spring), and the Nodding Ladies Tresses (late summer).
